RESONANT FORMATION OF DT-MU MESIC MOLECULES IN THE TRIPLE H2+D2+T2 MIXTURE

摘要
The process of the formation of the resonant dt-mu molecule t-mu + HD --> [(dt-mu)pee] is considered and its rate lambda-dt-mu-p is calculated as a function of the energy of the mesic atom t-mu and the temperature of the H-2 + D2 + T2 mixture. It is shown that at the energy E = 0.2 eV and the temperature T = 30 K the rate lambda-dt-mu-p reaches the value 2 x 10(10) s-1. At T = 900 K the resonant formation rate averaged over the maxwellian distribution on the energies of the t-mu atom is lambda-dt-mu-p almost-equal-to 2.3 x 10(9) s-1. The consequences of these results are discussed.
