摘要
A transient finite element simulation to establish the extent of eddy-current effects in pulsed magnetic field measurements is presented. The utility of the package is demonstrated by simulating the pulsed measurement of the hysteresis loop of a NdFeB magnet, subsequently guidelines are proposed for the selection of pulse durations so as to ensure minimal eddy-current errors in the measurements for a given dimension of magnet.
