摘要
The following hypothesis was investigated: that those subjects who prefer chain type drawings to conventional drawings will find the latter form of drawings easier to interpret correctly when trying to identify depicted objects. Men (N = 107) and women (N = 97) from rural areas of Zambia served as subjects in simple choice situations. Geometric and meaningful stimuli were used. The data obtained with the former support the hypothesis, whilst those obtained with the meaningful stimuli fail to do so. © 1969.
