摘要
This paper describes the formulation of a structural theory for the analysis of laminated anisotropic damped plates. The plate consists of laminated face sheets sandwiching a single damping layer. The displacement degrees of freedom used to construct the analytical model are a generalization of those found in constrained layer theory. Variational principles are used to form the equations of motion which are solved for the steady state response of simply supported semi-infinite plates. The analysis is used to examine the effect of stress coupling and compliant layering on damped structures loaded in flexure. Solutions for the resonant frequencies, loss factors and forced resonant response are reported. © 1992.
