ASYMPTOTIC FRACTAL AND MULTIFRACTAL PROPERTIES OF TURBULENT DISSIPATIVE FIELDS

摘要
It is shown that the value of the asymptotic generalized dimension D(infinity) is equal to the fractal dimension of the surface of the turbulent dissipation field D(sigma) and that the probability density of an active dissipative region of scale r in a turbulent medium p(r) approximately r-(D(infinity)+1). The consequences of this result are related to data from a number of experiments.
