摘要
An analysis of vibration and stability of conical and cylindrical shell panels with slight internal damping under follower forces is presented. An extended form of the principle of virtual work is utilized. Examples of cantilevered conical and cylindrical shell panels with and without small internal damping are solved. Plots of these solutions illustrate graphically the influence of internal damping. © 1990.
