摘要
Confined-system pyrolysis has been applied to the characterization of the evolution of petroleum potential of different coals by combining pressurized pyrolysis to Rock-Eval pyrolysis. It is shown that the choice of experimental time-temperature pairs can slightly modify the behaviour of coal during artificial maturation especially during the diagenetic stage. Applications dealing with the comparison of coals of different origins during artificial maturation as well as the effect of oxidation on subsequent maturation are presented. Emphasis is put on the interests of generating artificial series of maturation from low maturity samples in order to assess the evolution of the hydrocarbon potential.
