摘要
The crystal structure of Bi2WO6 has been refined from neutron diffraction data and is shown to be polar, like other members of the ferroelectric bismuth titanate family. Bismuth tungstate is orthorhombic, space group B2cb, with a = 5.457, b = 5.436, c = 16.427Å, Z = 4, and a calculated spontaneous polarization of 0.42 C/m2. The compound remains polar to 940°C, nearly 300° higher than Bi4Ti3O12. © 1969.
