摘要
The present paper discusses the use of two commercially available cold-cure adhesives for bonding unidirectional carbon fibre/epoxy composite substrates. Double lap joints have been prepared and exposed to high humidity and temperature and the change in joint strength has been measured. The rates of water diffusion and solubilities in the composite and adhesives have been determined and these data have been employed together with a finite element analysis model to predict the durability of the bonded joints.
