CHIRAL SYMMETRY-BREAKING IN THE BOUND-STATE HYPERON MODEL

摘要
It is shown that the effective binding of the flavoured meson in the bound state model for the hyperons is significantly reduced if the chiral symmetry breaking term in the lagrangian density is modified so that the empirical fact that f(D)>f(K)>f-pi is consistently taken into account. This solution of the overbinding problem of the mesons immediately leads to quantitatively satisfactory predictions of the spectra of both the strange and charmed hyperons.
