摘要：

Gambler's perceptions while gambling are erroneous or irrational. This study evaluated the effect of cognitive restructuring among three pathological gamblers willing to give up gambling. An experimental multiple baseline design across subjects was used. It was predicted that the treatment would (1) decrease the number of erroneous verbalizations (2) increase the number of adequate verbalizations, and (3) reduce the frequency of gambling. The first and second hypotheses were confirmed while the third was partially supported. The implications of cognitive factors in the treatment of pathological gambling are discussed.
