SCATTERING OF ELECTROMAGNETIC-WAVES FROM A TIME-VARYING FRACTAL SURFACE

摘要
A time-varying band-limited fractal model is proposed for modeling rough surfaces. The Kirchhoff approximation is used to obtain the backscattering field from this surface. A K-distributed intensity fluctuation is observed for the distribution of the field amplitude. When the numerical results are compared with previous experimental work [1], good agreement is observed.
