X-ray and transmission electron microscopy investigations of C-60-samples after nonhydrostatic compression up to 13 GPa and heating up to 1050 K were carried out. The thermobaric treatment resulted in the appearance of amorphous and new crystallic states. The shifted diffusion peak position for increasing high pressure corresponds to a change of the d-value from 0.335 nm to 0.314 nm. These diffraction patterns could be correlated with chains of equally oriented molecules. In parallel with the new fee structure (a = 1.29 +/- 0.01 nm) a distorted fee lattice with a rhombohedral structure (a = 1.30 +/- 0.01 nm, alpha = 87 degrees) has been observed.
