摘要
A cDNA encoding the E1 beta subunit of the Arabidopsis thaliana mitochondrial pyruvate dehydrogenase complex was sequenced. The 1230 bp cDNA contains a 1089-base open reading frame encoding a polypeptide of 363 amino acids with a predicted molecular mass of 39190 Da and an isoelectric point of 4.9. A 29-residue presumptive mitochondrial targeting sequence is present at the amino terminus.
