摘要
The amino-acid analysis of insoluble enamel protein from a mastodon tooth resembles that of fresh enamel. The residual protein contains a small but significant amount of hydroxy-proline and its overall composition is unlike dential collagen. The data indicate that hydroxy-proline is present in the insoluble enamel protein rather than as contamination from dentin. © 1969 Springer-Verlag.
