摘要：

Malignant hyperthermia is a genetically inherited condition in many cases. The pattern of inheritance appears to be that of autosomal dominance with reduced penetrance and variable expressivity. The condition is not manifested in infancy or old age. The possible association with musculo-skeletal disease requires further investigation, although a large family tree did not support previously collected evidence in favour of this association. © 1969 Canadian Anesthesiologists.
