摘要
An efficient gas-circulating pump constructed of glass and Teflon is described. It derives from a simple design by Watson in which a reciprocating piston is actuated by external solenoids driven by a multivibrator circuit. Modifications to the piston heads and non-return valves have resulted in a circulating rate of 50-60 ml s-1 for both oxygen and hydrogen, at pressures down to 104 N m-2 (0·1 atm).
