SCALAR CONFINEMENT POTENTIAL IN CHARMONIUM

摘要
Relativistic corrections to energy shifts in charmonium arising from a scalar confining potential are calculated. These include v2/c2 effects from the non-relativistic reduction of r/a2 as well as retardation corrections. It is shown that these are sizable contributions which are likely to modify the potential model parameters obtained in scalar confinement models.
