摘要
The possible application of a solid state, electrochemical method for the determination of the ionic conductivity in semiconductors and metals is analyzed. It is shown that the poor ionic conductivity of many semiconductors and metals poses stringent constraints on the experimental set-up. However, when these constraints are fulfilled the method allows for an accurate measurement of the ionic conductivity, under controlled sample composition, by two and four electrodes arrangements.
