摘要
For investigations concerning biological decontamination, the white rot fungus plays an important role. The lignin peroxidase of this fungus catalyzes the formation of 3,3',4,4'-tetrachloroazobenzene 1 from dichloroaniline. Since this highly toxic product is produced in approximately 15% yield, thorough biochemical investigations must be carried out before the application of the fungus in biotechnology.
