摘要
Results of site-specific and orbital-resolved partial density of states of YBa2Cu3O7 obtained from a first-principles self-consistent calculation using the orthogonalized linear combination of atomic orbitals method are presented. Special features in the bonding of the apical oxygen, O(4) are emphasized. The usefulness of these results in the interpretation of some experimental data is discussed.
