A general discussion is given of the matrix element for the decays K0 e+e-; then, using the results of the vector-meson-dominance model to predict the K20K10 electromagnetic transition radius, partial conservation of axial-vector current and current algebra to predict the K20 + - transition rate, and the experimental value of the CP-violating parameter, we find the following branching ratios: (KL0+-e+e-)(KL0all)=1.7×10-7, (KL000e+e-)(KL0 all)=0.2×10-7, and (KS0+-e+e-)(KS0 all)=2.0×10-5. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
