摘要
The host‐fungal arbuscule interfacial matrix in the VA mycorrhiza of Ornithogalum umbellatum L. has been studied at the ultrastructural level by various fixation methods, cytochemical techniques and by selective enzymic digestion. Evidence is produced that the interfacial matrix, though varying in size and infrastructure, irrespective of the arbuscule zone, constantly contains polysaccharides (mainly pectin and occasionally some cellulose) and proteins. Combined morphological and cytochemical results show that this structure is made up of wall material from the host cell. Copyright © 1979, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
