摘要
The visible spectra of trinuclear chromium(III) acetates [Cr3O(CH3CO2)6R2]+ can be successfully analysed by means of the ligand field theory for tetragonal fields. The ligands R (R = H2O, NH3, py, DMSO) are relatively labile and may be replaced by several ligands of varying donor strength. The spectra of trinuclear iron(III) acetates [Fe3O(CH3CO2)6R3]+ are poorly resolved but can be interpreted on the basis of a d5 configuration in octahedral fields. © 1969, CSIRO. All rights reserved.
