摘要
Calculations are performed to estimate the magnitude of the changes in thermal conductivity expected in the divertor protection material during the physics phase of NET. The estimated increase in the surface temperature of the CFC (carbon fibre re-inforced graphite) protection material is significant even at low irradiation times. However, it is thought unlikely to affect divertor performance greatly because erosion by plasma disruptions will cause a thinning of the protection material which in turn will lead to a decrease in surface temperature. © 1990.
