摘要
The cross sensitivity of potentiometric solid electrolyte chlorine gas sensors based on AgCl modified electrodes against H2S is caused by a kinetic interaction under metastable formation of Ag2S. The thermodynamically more stable AgCl is subsequently formed without an influence on the cell voltage. The response of the sensor to changes in the chlorine partial pressure appears to be rate-determined by the chlorine transfer across the interface gas/AgCl. © 1990.
