STRUCTURAL MODELS FOR (NA2O)X(SIO2)1-X GLASSES WITH PERIODIC BOUNDARIES

摘要
Structural models of (Na//2O)//x(SiO//2)//1// minus //x glasses for x equals 0, 0. 018, 0. 111, 0. 222, and 0. 333 with periodic boundary conditions are constructed. The model structures are computer-relaxed using a combination of Keating-type potential and Lennard-Jones potentials. The structural characteristics and the radial distribution functions of these models are shown to agree well with experimental data and results of other theoretical models.
