摘要
John Ruskin's work offers both outstanding examples of geographical description and a theory of the cultural landscape that provides contemporary insights. The origins of Ruskin's geographical imagination are found to his early literary, artistic, and religious experience, his naive interest in geology, and a natural empiricism. -Author
