摘要
The redox state of the NAD/NADH2 couple in the cytoplasm and mitochondria of rat liver in vivo is changed in different ways during the oxidation of ethanol or sorbitol in hyperthyroid, normal or hypothyroid rats. However, in most of these situations, changes in the redox state induced in the cytoplasm are accompanied by parallel changes in the mitochondria, so that a calculated redox potential difference of about 34 mV is maintained between the cell compartments. © 1969.
