摘要
Experimental results obtained for ternary systems hydrocarbon-C8F16O-butyronitrile (BTN) with the liquid-liquid equilibrium method at 25 °C are presented. The data were correlated by the NRTL equation and the parameters so obtained were used to predict the behaviour of quaternary systems hydrocarbon A-hydrocarbon B-C8F16O-BTN and to evaluate the influence of the ratios feed/ double solvent and C8F16O/BTN on the selectivity of the double solvent with regard to the hydrocarbon pair. The advantage of C8F16O consists in enhancing the condition of non-ideality of the system so that, through the formation of the two phases, BTN can be used as an extractive solvent. © 1979.
