摘要
The ternary complex [Cu(5′-IMP)(dpa)(H2O)]2 has been prepared and its structure analyzed by x-ray diffraction. It has a dimeric structure in which the 5′-IMP ligands coordinate solely through their phosphate groups. This geometry is in marked contrast to that of another Cu 5′-IMP ternary complex, [Cu(5′-IMPH)(bipy)(H2O)2]+, which shows metal binding through the purine base rather than the phosphate group. © 1979.
