摘要
A regression analysis was conducted on experimental data obtained during the testing of a solid desiccant dehumidifier (Bharathan et al.) at the Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI has since been renamed the National Renewable Energy Laboratory). The data obtained was studies using statistical techniques to determine the regression equation for the temperature and humidity at the processed air outlet of the dehumidifier. These variables determine the cooling capacity and efficiency (Coefficient of Performance) of any desiccant cooling cycle. The analysis is used to determine the relative impact the input parameters have on the outlet temperature and humidity.
