The method elaborated at the Institute of Forensic Science in Budapest was successfully used for detection of latent fingerprints inside cars (inner volume; approximately 3 m3). The method consists in rapid evaporation of liquid cyanoacrylate with a hand-drier and mixing a hot stream of air - cyanoacrylate vapour - against a hot stream of air with water vapour, the latter produced by blowing a wet textile material with a hand-drier. © 1990.
