摘要
The vibrational relaxation rates of HF(v=1) and HF(v=3) have been measured in H2,N2, and D2 at 200 and 295 K. The v dependence of the relaxation rates is essentially the same for N 2,D2, and several other diatomic molecules that deactivate HF via exothermic processes. The rates for HF(v=3) deactivation are larger than those for HF(v=1) by a factor of ∼18 at both 200 and 295 K. © 1980 American Institute of Physics.
