摘要
Pyrolysis runs were carried out in the temperature range 1000-1150 °C and the particle size range +38 μm to -2360 μm on a semianthracite coal from the Welgedacht area. Correlations were established for the yields of hydrogen and methane as functions of particle size and final temperature, and for carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide as a function of particle size at a final temperature before decomposition of carbonates in the mineral matter. The observations are explained in terms of secondary reactions occurring in the diffusion of the primary products through the pores of the char. © 1990.
