摘要
A simplified theory of on-line discontinuous detection in liquid chromatography is presented that makes provision for the effects of the interface measurement on peak shape. Optimum conditions were established: the detector time cycle and the retention time of the interface have to be consistent with the chromatographic peak width. Analytical use of the method necessitates measurement of the peak area, as the peak height is very sensitive to many parameters. Experimental verification of the theoretical conclusions is presented for a speciation method for butyltin compounds at trace levels. © 1990.
