摘要
Four creativity measures, tapping fluency and originality, and nine personality tests were administered to a sample of 218 Barbadian arts and science specialists to assess the relationship between subject orientation and the creative personality. Although there were no significant differences in the creative performance of both subject groups, there were variations in their personality profile. Arts-oriented students emerged as being more autonomous, more feminine and more appreciative of change when compared with science-oriented students. Science students, on the other hand, emerged as being more dominant than their arts counterparts.
