摘要
Using the 'coherent-wave' approximation, it is shown how wave functions can be constructed for describing electrons in liquid transition metals. These wave functions can be simplified, along the lines developed by Heine, by Hubbard and by Jacobs for crystalline transition metals, making feasible the calculation of transport properties using a Boltzmann equation.
