摘要
A mathematically realisable and physically reasonable multiple shear lattice invariant deformation has been incorporated into the current martensite crystallography theories. The only restriction on the component shears is that they can coexist in the matrix. A detailed analysis which includes which includes explicit expressions for the crystallographic features of martensite plates consistent with this formulation is presented. The analysis has been applied to the martensitic transformations reported to be operative in Fe-1.8%C, Fe-7.9%Cr-1.11%C and Fe-6.14%Mn-0.95%C alloys. © 1969.
