A convenient change of space variable which avoids several inconveniences of a transformation given earlier (A.C. Michael, R.M. Wightman and C.A. Amatore, J. Electroanal. Chem., 267 (1989) 33; I. Lavagnini, P. Pastore, F. Magno and C.A. Amatore, J. Electroanal. Chem., 316 (1991) 37) is presented for the simulation of diffusion at a disk under steady state or near steady-state conditions. The adequacy of this change of variables is established by comparison with previous results from the literature for the Nernstian and slow charge transfer cases.
