摘要
The past several years has seen growing interest in the dynamic behavior of rotor bearing systems with cracked shafts. Vibration monitoring is considered as a possible means of detecting the presence of growth of cracks, which can otherwise lead to catastrophic failure. The transient vibration response of a cracked rotor passing through its critical speed is analyzed in the context of crack detection and monitoring.
