摘要
In the presence of Nafion, the ion-exchange mechanism accompanying the redox reactions of polyaniline has enabled a polyaniline-Nafion composite electrode to act as an electrochemical detector for cations. The characteristics and capability of the polyaniline-Nafion electrode for the determination of alkali and alkaline earth metal ions were studied using flow-injection analysis and ion chromatography. A detection limit as low as 2.0 x 10(-7) M was obtained for alkali metal ions.
