摘要
Thermal rearrangement of(S)- or (R)-hexahydro-1-nitroso-3-phthalinddo-2H-azepin-2-one to the corresponding lactone followed by nucleophilic ring opening of the latter gives epsilon-chloro- or epsilon-hydroxynorlencine.
