摘要
Infrared spectra of the binary oxides of the types RE2Ti2O7, RE2Zr2O7, and RE2Hf2O7 have been recorded in the range from 1000 to 200 cm-1. On the basis of these spectra it is possible to distinguish between ordered and disordered structures of the pyrochlore type compounds. The results obtained by this method are compared with those obtained from X-ray powder diffraction patterns. © 1969.
