摘要
Mössbauer-effect measurements of the internal magnetic field in an I129 impurity and in Te125 in antiferromagnetic MnTe2 reveal a significant increase in the sublattice magnetization near the impurity. This is explained in terms of an increase in the Mn-ligand-Mn exchange on substituting I1-, for Te1-, and the possible presence of Mn3+ resulting from charge compensation. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
