摘要
THE forebrain of fish provides an opportunity to examine the functions of a relatively simple nervous system which lacks the complexity of higher vertebrates. This area allows associations involving pain as reinforcement to be acquired and used1-4, and we have set out to demonstrate that the forebrain has a similar function in associations involving food as reinforcement. © 1969 Nature Publishing Group.
