A COMPARISON OF THE CR-3+ TO ND-3+ ENERGY-TRANSFER EFFICIENCY IN CR-ND-GGG AND CR-ND-GSGG

摘要
Photoluminescence and excitation spectroscopy indicate that the Cr3+ to Nd3+ energy transfer in Cr:Nd:GGG and Cr:Nd:GSGG laser crystals occurs with a high efficiency n{long right leg}. From fluorescence decay data the value of n{long right leg} was quantitatively determined to be 0.80 and 0.79 for Cr:Nd:GGG and Cr:Nd:GSGG, respectively. © 1990.
