The tris(fluoroaryl) boron compounds B(C6F5)3 and B(C6H3F2-2,6)3 undergo reversible 1:1 adduct formation with phosphine (PH3); the X-ray crystal structure of (C6F5I3B.PH3) 1 has been determined.
