摘要
The stability of small doubly charged (paradifluorobenzene)n greater-than-or-equal-to 3(2+) clusters produced in a supersonic expansion by multiphoton ionization can be explained by calculations taking into account intermolecular interactions between neutral and ionic species without involving any change of their chemical nature. The variation of the critical size of appearance for doubly charged paradifluorobenzene and benzene clusters can be explained by the differences in intermolecular potentials and by the formation process.
