摘要
The first Dutch National Food Consumption Survey (DNFCS) was conducted in 1987-88. This report describes the design and methods of the Dutch nutrition surveillance system. The rationale for the use of an existing panel and a two-day record is given, and some potential pitfalls are discussed. The DNFCS data are compared with data from the Dutch national food balance sheets. Data from both individual and household levels are presented and discussed. An example regarding risk group identification is given.
